Vietnamese Teachers Day
Vietnamese Teachers Day
True North Kindergarten uses the Reggio Emilia concept in a variety of ways, including child-directed project work.
Students at True North Kindergarten are exposed to a wide range of project-based activities daily, not just once a month or once a week. Students can express themselves freely via projects, whether they be art, STEAM, or Vietnamese. These projects help young children lay the groundwork for future study and independent investigation by focusing on themes that pique their interest.
“Children that take part in True North Kindergarten's project-based learning will be able to develop skills including cooperation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.”
Projects are considered as learning journeys that might span anywhere from one week to the full school year! Teachers plan and promote activities relevant to these subjects, and the learning and documentation outcomes serve as building blocks for future initiatives. Children decide on the project's direction, as well as how and what the group will generate consequently.
